Corporate social responsibility!

Building relationships with customers is the cornerstone of a successful company and having a social responsibility can impact this relationship. Unfortunately many businesses don’t take corporate social responsibility seriously. So what happens if companies don’t practice CSR? Simply put, customers will take their money and business to a company that does. And arguably, companies that don’t pay attention to their ethical responsibilities are more likely to stumble into legal troubles. CSR creates a filter for the actions of a company, it keeps organisations accountable and ethical. Besides the potential loss of socially conscious customers, CSR impacts a business’ ability to attract top talent and affects employees’ job satisfaction levels. The concept of CSR however has evolved from the understanding that a company should only look after its customers but also its employees, not only in the office but also when travelling for work.
